Our on-boarding process includes multiple steps which helps us better get to know you and helps lead us into the service that best fits your project needs. Regardless of the selected service, we remain loyal to our tried-and-true process to ensure each project receives the level of respect and attention to detail it deserves. Read on to learn about each phase of our process, and what it looks like to work with Tyler Interiors.
PHASE ONE - DISCOVERY CALL
Let’s chat! This 15-20 minute phone conversation, free of charge, helps us scratch the surface of your wants and needs within your home project. Prior to the scheduled call, you must complete our inquiry questionnaire. This detailed document leads us through our conversation, as well as provides information on the general scope of work within the project. We finalize the call by leading you towards phase two, our virtual Meet & Greet.
PHASE TWO - MEET & GREET
This virtual face-to-face meeting introduces you to our professional team so you understand who you are working with. We discuss the details of the project, present our internal process within our services, and determine which service aligns best with your needs. The scale of the project determines the level of service we agree upon when we meet during the personal consultation. Our scheduled meet & greet is 20 to 30 minutes, and is also free of charge.
PHASE THREE - PERSONAL CONSULTATION
Let’s meet! The next step in our design process is the personal consultation. We believe home is sacred and that thoughtful, enduring design stems from a deep understanding of the unique way you live inside your space. The in-person consultation is an hour and a half meeting where our creative process begins. We review our process, answer additional questions, gather general measurements, and collect images and additional notes.
Following our meeting, we consolidate all collected information to provide a detailed proposal including specific design elements, level of design service including our design fee, a rough budget estimate, and estimated timeline. We also provide a custom project statement, color selection, and design inspiration to showcase our vision for your project.
PHASE FOUR - LOA MEETING
We are overjoyed you have chosen to partner with Tyler Interiors to create the home of your dreams! The next phase of our design process is our LOA meeting, which is an in-person meeting to review and sign our letter of agreement. This document contains all details within the scope of the project and the process throughout our collaboration. During this meeting, we also reserve time to review inspirational images previously collected and shared with our team of professionals. As a new client, you are asked to create a Pinterest board that speaks to your style and functionality. This provides a strong foundation in transition to the design curation phase.
PHASE FIVE - DESIGN CURATION PHASE
Once the letter of agreement is finalized, the fun begins! We begin curating a design concept for each space, work on proper renderings, as well as gather samples of materials and products included in the curation. A trades day is scheduled to generate proposals towards additional services, such as painting, electrical, or major construction changes.
On trades day, you can expect different contractors, fabricators, wall-paper experts, etc. on-site collecting measurements and notes for the project scope. Our design team is present to lead the coordinating professionals, as well as collect detailed measurements for space planning within our design curation.
PHASE SIX - FULL DESIGN PRESENTATION
During our full design presentation, you see our conceptual vision come to life! This is an in-person meeting to present each detail within the design concept of each space. Proper renderings, space planning, and product samples are presented to provide a tangible idea of what the results will look and feel like. Multi-level projects are presented in two phases; phase 1 is to present hard selections, and phase 2 is to present furnishings & styling layered over hard selections. Following our full presentation, you will have access to one full revision period. Any potential revisions are completed during this time. The revision timeline is determined by the scale of the project.
PHASE SEVEN - DESIGN EXECUTION
Once the design concept is approved we begin project procurement in ordering all products included in the design curation. We coordinate schedules with partnering contractors and sub-contractors, coordinate delivery of materials and products, and oversee design execution by conducting weekly site visits for construction projects. We coordinate the project installation schedule, so clients receive a smooth transition into the big reveal. We manage our projects in full to help you avoid potential stress and headaches.
As a Tyler Interiors client, you will have access to individual product selections customized to your curation. We have all of your items shipped, inspected, and delivered by our team of professionals so everything is ready to install on the project site. This is incredibly important in keeping the design process running smoothly and efficiently to ensure that your project finish is exactly what you want.
PHASE EIGHT - PROJECT INSTALLATION
The most exciting phase for everyone involved! We bring all hands on deck to place, style, and perfect every single detail to give you a true turn-key experience. When we're done, we welcome you home to a refined and inviting space that is ready for living.
The scale of the project will determine how much time is required for project installation. Some require a day, some require a week or more, but seeing it all come together is truly magical. Once all products are installed and finishing touches are made, it is time for the final walkthrough. This is the exciting part! The wait is over and you get to see and feel the flow within each complimentary detail.
Once you have had time to enjoy your new reveal, we will follow-up with our project wrap-up which includes product warranties, product care instructions, future collaborations, and a thank you note from our professional team.
